When a Miracle is from God

A miracle must happen to repent souls. A miracle must increase and strengthen the faith of other believers. Above all, a miracle must glorify God. Any miracle that occurs for selfish gains should be subjected to doubt.

 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows (James 1:17). The Power to perform miracles is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 12:10) which is freely given to sons and daughters of the true light according to His will which works best in humility and selflessness for the purpose and glory of God. So, let no man take pride, be boastful or take advantage of it. 
We as Christians should be very watchful and discerning enough so that we do not become victims of so-called pastors, bishops, prophets etc. who brainwash innocent people by their false miracles (Matt. 7:15 &16).
May God have mercy on us!!!

God's Peace Is Different From The World's peace

  People everywhere search for peace. They sing songs about it and travel on pilgrimages to find it. They even wage war to protect it. Many wealthy, famous, and powerful people would trade everything for just one moment of peace. What they often find, however, is the world’s false peace which is different from the peace offered by Jesus: Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not  your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. (John 14:27) The peace offered by the world is an empty promise and can only bring temporary comfort. God’s peace is a permanent peace offered by the only One who can be trusted to keep his Word and heal our sin. The world’s peace is fleeting and changes with circumstances.  The book of Proverbs says that “wine is a mocker” and that “beer is a brawler” and that “whoever is led astray by them is not wise” (Proverbs 20:1). The Bible frequently refers to wine, sometimes in positive ways when describing something satisfying (Song of Songs 7:9) or celebratory (Ecclesiastes 9:7), and sometimes metaphorically in negative ways when describing God’s judgment (Psalm 75:8) and wrath (Revelation 14:10). A mocker is somebody who is hostile to a life of righteousness and ridicules all who would oppose him. The 2 Ways That Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You

FEBRUARY 16, 2018|IN BLOG POST, 2018|BY RYAN RUFUS I’m sure you are familiar with Romans 6:14 “For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace”. Recently I have been ministering to someone who grew up being taught this scripture in a very religious way which resulted in terrible depression, and more recently becoming very suicidal. He was taught that if you don’t have dominion over sin then you are not in God’s grace and are not saved. He was told if you died with sin in your life then you are going to hell. The religious angle which makes this so deceptive and destructive is that “sin won’t have dominion over you if you are in grace, therefore if sin is having dominion over you then you are not in grace.” This is absolutely not what this scripture is saying and to teach it like this is to bring bondage and death. This teaching kills believers slowly, and in the case of my new friend almost drove him to the point of taking his own life. Thank
