HOW TO DISTINGUISH A TRUE PROPHET FROM A FALSE PROPHET !!! (BEWARE OF PSYCHICS)

Image
A Prophet of God is one who speaks ‘God’s truth’ to others. He knows the Heart and Mind of God and communicates them to individuals or even to nations. Thus, the Office of the Prophet.  He never speaks on his own authority or share his personal opinions. Also, ‘Gift of Prophecy’ should not be mistaken for ‘The Office of Prophet’. Gift of Prophecy is graciously given to believers as the Holy Spirit ‘wills’ and the primary purpose is to strengthen, encourage and to comfort believers (1 Corinthians 14). A Psychic is one who has a supernatural ability to read your mind, emotions, physical self, see your past events and predict your future. They are sometimes able to get information from your spirit (natural human spirit but Never from a believer in Christ with a regenerated spirit). Psychics sometimes receive messages about you from demons and other evil spirits and make them known to you. INDEED, THIS PRACTICE IS DEMONIC AND FALSE. Psychics use a combination of psychology ,...

SPEAKING IN TONGUES IS NOT THE ONLY MEANS OF PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT.

Image
Speaking in tongues is a type of praying in the Spirit but not equal to praying in the Spirit.  I disagree with some men of God who preach and teach that speaking in tongues is the ONLY way a believer must pray in the Spirit. Praying in the Spirit is mentioned three times in Scripture. 1 Corinthians 14:15  says, “So what shall I do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will also pray with my mind; I will sing with my spirit, but I will also sing with my mind.”  Ephesians 6:18  says, “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.”  Jude 20  says, “But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.” So, what exactly does it mean to pray in the Spirit? The Greek word translated “pray in” can have several different meanings. It can mean “by means of,” “with the help of,” “in the sphere of,” and “in conn...

THE TRUTH ABOUT GETTING A TATTOO

Image
There are a lot of Christians, Pastors and other religious people who argue that getting a tattoo is a sin and base their theory on Leviticus 19:28, which says: “You shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.” That seems pretty clear at first glance. However, in order to understand how it applies to us today, we have to view it in context. We have to look at the meaning of the entire passage–the verses and chapters before and after it. We also need to look at the rest of the truths taught in the entire Bible as a whole. Don’t just look at a verse in the Bible and draw hasty conclusions!!! God’s desire is for His people to be set apart from other religious practices, like pagan worship (worshipping of smaller gods) and sorcery (the practice of black magic). If you look at this verse in context, you can see that it is specifically dealing with pagan religious rituals . Does this verse have an...
