Troubles and Persecutions are the staircase to Greatness and Prosperity
A true Christian can never be free from troubles, false accusations or persecutions in this world.
Any doctrine which encourages that a true and successful Christian life is achieved on a silver platter is a false one.
The Lord Himself warned His disciples about persecution and hatred. He was hated and persecuted during His time on earth and admonishes us that we will also encounter the same (John 15:18-21).
James 1:2 - 4(NIV) reads, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."
Matthew 5:10-13 also teaches that those persecuted for righteousness' sake will be blessed and inherit the kingdom of heaven. Jesus encourages believers to rejoice in suffering and false accusations, as they share in the reward of the persecuted prophets before them..
Troubles, disappointments, Persecutions, challenges and hardships will all come our way but the Lord assures us one thing that 'He has Overcome the world' (John 16:33).How sweet that sounds!
This Victory Jesus has won strengthens, comforts, encourages, quickens and empowers us (Christians) to remain focus until the Prosperity and Greatness He has promised us are manifested in His own perfect time.
